Cybersec Expo & Forum 2026, the leading cybersecurity event in Central Europe, will take place on 15–16 June at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. The agenda focuses on the most pressing challenges for state and business digital resilience, from geopolitics and AI to implementing new regulations like NIS2 and the amended Polish Cybersecurity Act.
The programme brings together representatives of public administration, state institutions, cybersecurity bodies, private sector leaders and expert communities. For two days, Katowice will host discussions that go beyond technology – they touch on the very fabric of national security, economic stability and social trust.
Aleksandra Helbin, editor-in-chief of WNP, said: – The conversation about cybersecurity is no longer just about IT systems. It is about the resilience of the state, the economy and the infrastructure that citizens and companies depend on every day. At Cybersec Expo & Forum 2026 we want to connect the perspectives of administration, business and experts to talk about cyber resilience as one of the key conditions for the security and development of a modern state.
Geopolitics and regulation as pillars of digital security
The first day of the event will feature sessions on cybersecurity of the state and local government, practical approaches to building cyber defence, and public-private partnerships for digital defence. Special attention will be paid to the implementation of the amended Polish Cybersecurity Act and the NIS2 directive, as well as financing digital security investments.
One of the highlights will be the premiere of the third edition of the report “Cyberportret polskiego biznesu 2026” (Cyber Portrait of Polish Business 2026), prepared by ESET and DAGMA Bezpieczeństwo IT. This year’s edition, titled “10 faces of cybersecurity”, reveals the scale and complexity of challenges organisations face today.
Separate debates will focus on disinformation and social resilience, critical infrastructure protection, AI implementation, and the organisation of the state to fight cybercrime. The programme also includes competence development and future technologies.
Between business and public sector – practical challenges and future competencies
The second day concentrates on building competencies, sectoral resilience, and the practical development of technology and regulations. Sessions will cover cooperation between the state, the military and business in talent acquisition, challenges faced by CISOs and CIOs, and cybersecurity in finance, energy, healthcare and industry.
Dual-use technologies, the Cyber Resilience Act, smart city concepts, and the role of education and science in building long-term digital resilience are also on the agenda. A key discussion will address Poland’s potential in exporting cybersecurity solutions and strengthening the national ecosystem in the face of geopolitical pressure and growing technological sovereignty needs.
The evenings will bring the Cybersec Awards gala, honouring individuals and organisations setting new standards in digital protection. Awards will be given in four categories: Innovation of the Year, Company of the Year, Leader in Cyber Education and Master of Cybersecurity, with an additional special distinction from the jury.
Registration for the event is open until 12 June, 15:00, via the official website. Co-hosts of Cybersec Expo & Forum are the Metropolis GZM, the City of Katowice and the Silesian Voivodeship.
