The best-paid specialists in the Polish construction sector can earn as much as 36,000 PLN gross per month in 2026. The highest rates are offered on large energy, infrastructure, network and renewable energy projects.
A new salary report from Grafton Recruitment, titled „Industrial Sector Salary Report 2026,” reveals that top earners in construction include commissioning managers (up to 36,000 PLN gross) and contract directors (up to 35,000 PLN gross). The overall salary range for the analysed positions spans from 8,000 to 36,000 PLN gross per month, which translates to approximately 5,800 to 20,700 PLN net for a standard employment contract.
Highest-paying roles and sought-after skills
According to the report, the biggest paychecks are reserved for professionals with experience in large-scale contracts and high‑voltage projects. – The highest earners are commissioning managers and contract directors, but we also see strong demand for construction and works managers, engineers, designers, cost estimators, quality specialists and foremen – said Anna Nowak, analyst at Grafton Recruitment.
Employers particularly value expertise in energy, high‑voltage systems, BIM, Primavera P6, ESG, automation and prefabrication. The report underlines that the energy transition and the growth of renewable energy projects are fuelling the need for specialised staff capable of managing complex, technologically advanced installations.
Construction remains a labour‑hungry sector
The construction industry continues to record one of the highest demand indicators among industrial sectors. With a demand index of 1.39, it far exceeds the industrial average of 0.99. This means that for every available candidate, there are more than one job opening.
The data, collected between March and April 2026, covers key positions in the building sector. The persistent shortage of qualified workers, especially those with experience in energy and infrastructure projects, is likely to keep upward pressure on salaries in the coming months. The report also highlights that employers are increasingly looking for candidates who combine traditional construction skills with digital and sustainability competencies.
