Respect Energy Holding has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer. Anna Makuch-Hojowska took up the post on 1 October 2026 and joined the company’s management board, taking full responsibility for the finances of the entire group.
The appointment was announced by the Respect Energy group. The new board member brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, gained at international financial groups, including Raiffeisen Bank and Millennium Bank, as well as in the private sector, among others in the energy industry.
Her professional path has been linked to Respect Energy since 2023. During that time she built and developed the Structured Finance & M&A function, creating the competences and the team responsible for this area at the level of the whole group.
A CFO who knows the organisation from the inside
Makuch-Hojowska’s promotion from within the group was highlighted by the president of the management board, who pointed to her familiarity with the company as one of her key assets.
– I am glad that Anna has joined the management board of Respect Energy Holding. She brings wide financial experience to it and knows our organisation perfectly. I am convinced that very good and fruitful cooperation lies ahead of us, as well as another important stage in the group’s development – said Roch Baranowski, president of the management board of Respect Energy Holding.

The group also referred to the person who had been responsible for these duties before. Diana Skotnicka, the predecessor of the new board member, was thanked for her work to date and for her significant contribution to the development of Respect Energy.
– Her work has created solid foundations for the further development of the finance function and for effectively supporting business decisions across the entire organisation – the company stated.
Respect Energy Holding is the holding company of the Respect Energy group, whose activities include electricity trading, both in wholesale and retail markets.
