Polish mining equipment company opens new subsidiary in China

Fasing, a Polish manufacturer of mining equipment, has announced the creation of a wholly-owned subsidiary in Zaozhuang, China. The new company, named Fasing Pol-Sin (Zaozhuang) Mining Equipment Co., Ltd., will focus on sales of machinery and equipment for the mining sector.

The decision was made by Fasing’s management board on 16 July 2026. The registered capital of the new entity is set at 1 million euros, fully covered by a cash contribution from the parent company. Fasing already operates in China through a subsidiary called Fasing Sino-Pol (Beijing) Mining Equipment and Tools Co., Ltd., which runs a production branch in Zaozhuang. The new sales-focused subsidiary is meant to separate the trading and distribution activities from the production operations.

Fasing has been active on the Chinese market for many years. Between March and June 2026 alone, the company signed export contracts for its equipment to China worth 16.8 million zlotys. The establishment of a dedicated sales unit aims to further strengthen its presence in one of the world’s largest mining markets.

A new wholly-owned subsidiary in China

The new entity will operate under the name Fasing Pol-Sin (Zaozhuang) Mining Equipment Co., Ltd. Its main business will be selling machinery and equipment. The move is part of a broader strategy to streamline the company’s Chinese operations by creating a clear organizational split between manufacturing and commercial activities.

Zaozhuang is already home to Fasing’s production facility run by its Beijing-based subsidiary. By setting up a separate sales company locally, Fasing aims to respond more efficiently to customer needs and increase its market share in the region. The Chinese mining sector remains a key target for Polish exporters of mining machinery.

Financial performance in the first quarter of 2026

Fasing’s group revenue in the first quarter of 2026 reached 60.3 million zlotys, almost unchanged from 60.7 million zlotys in the same period a year earlier. Operating profit fell sharply to 277 thousand zlotys from 6.3 million zlotys, while net profit came in at 112 thousand zlotys compared to 244 thousand zlotys in Q1 2025.

Despite the drop in profitability, the company maintains a solid position in its niche. The weaker results are partly attributed to higher raw material costs and a challenging macroeconomic environment. However, Fasing continues to invest in expanding its export markets.

Global leadership in chain production

Fasing is the largest manufacturer of chains with diameters from 9 to 60 mm in Central Europe and one of the world’s top producers. Its product range includes connecting links, high-strength flights, chain tracks and accessories for mining, energy, transport, fishing, shipbuilding, sugar and cement industries.

The company’s products are used in harsh underground conditions and heavy-duty applications. Fasing’s long-standing expertise and continuous investment in technology allow it to compete globally, especially in markets like China, where the demand for reliable mining equipment remains high.

The Polish mining machinery sector and its export activity will be discussed at the Future Mining Forum & Expo, scheduled for 9-11 September 2026 in Katowice. The event will bring together industry experts and companies from around the world.
