Fasing, a Polish manufacturer of mining equipment, has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Zaozhuang, China, named Fasing Pol-Sin (Zaozhuang) Mining Equipment Co., Ltd. The new company, with a registered capital of 1 million euros, will focus on the sale of machinery and equipment, separating distribution from production activities that remain under the existing Fasing Sino-Pol (Beijing) unit.
The decision, made by the management board on July 16, 2026, is part of Fasing’s long-term strategy to strengthen its presence in the Chinese market. The capital for the new entity will be fully paid in cash, and the subsidiary is expected to streamline the company’s sales and logistics operations in the region.
Long-standing presence and recent contracts
Fasing has been active in China for years, supplying chains, connectors, and other mining components. Between March and mid-June 2026 alone, the company secured export contracts to China worth 16.8 million złoty. This new subsidiary is designed to support growing demand and provide a dedicated platform for commercial activities.
The move comes amid broader efforts by Polish mining supply firms to diversify markets and tap into the large Chinese mining sector. Fasing’s products are used in mining, energy, transport, and other industries, positioning the company as one of the world’s top producers of heavy-duty chains and components.
Financial results and outlook
In the first quarter of 2026, Fasing’s group revenue stood at 60.3 million złoty, nearly unchanged from 60.7 million złoty a year earlier. However, operating profit fell sharply to 277,000 złoty from 6.3 million złoty, while net profit dropped to 112,000 złoty from 244,000 złoty. The decline reflects rising costs and pressure on margins in the competitive global market.
Despite the weaker quarterly results, the company sees long-term potential in China, where infrastructure and mining investments continue to grow. The new subsidiary is expected to improve efficiency and customer service, supporting Fasing’s ambition to remain a leading supplier in the region.
Fasing will also showcase its capabilities at the Future Mining Forum & Expo, scheduled for September 9–11, 2026, in Katowice, Poland – a key event for the mining industry in Central and Eastern Europe.
