Polish automotive supplier expands into medical device manufacturing

Masterform, a precision machining company belonging to the Mangata Holding group, is broadening its operations beyond the automotive sector to include the medical industry. The firm, known for CNC machining of metals such as steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, cast iron and graphite, now produces components for medical pumps and laboratory equipment, targeting both domestic and international clients in Germany and Switzerland.

The company has long been associated with the automotive industry, but shifting market demands have pushed it toward diversification. Masterform specialises in computer numerical control (CNC) machining of single parts and complex components. The decision to enter the medical sector follows a strategy of targeting industries that require high precision and quality standards.

„The market is changing very fast and requires great flexibility in choosing the industries and orders we serve. We are expanding into sectors that demand advanced precision machining. Apart from automotive, an increasing role is played by medicine, laboratory equipment, industrial automation, electronics and new technologies. Our actions and strong diversification stem from the requirements the medical sector places on every product,” said Robert Rogowski, managing director of Masterform.

Medical components and export markets

The company is already developing precision parts for vacuum pumps, infusion pumps, and other medical devices. Its customers, beyond the Polish market, include medical firms from Germany and Switzerland. Masterform’s core business remains industrial projects, including automotive, which provide stable revenue and allow parallel investment in long-term medical projects.

„The basis of our activity remains projects for the industry, including the automotive sector and other manufacturing branches. They ensure stable revenues and allow us to simultaneously invest in the development of long-term medical projects,” Rogowski added.

Poland’s medical device market and demographic trends

The Polish market for medical devices, both for military and civilian healthcare, comprises about 300 factories and a growing number of startups, with an estimated total value of over PLN 17.5 billion. Experts point to demography and population ageing as key trends shaping the sector’s prospects. This drives interest in products that enhance mobility and in personalised solutions tailored to individual users. There is also growing demand for medical devices used outside hospitals, in home settings.

The Mangata Holding group, to which Masterform belongs, reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of PLN 205.8 million, compared to PLN 196 million in the same period of 2025. Net profit for the quarter was PLN 5.9 million, down from PLN 7.8 million a year earlier.
