Polimex Mostostal seeks new CEO and board members. Competition announced

The supervisory board of Polimex Mostostal has launched qualification proceedings for the positions of CEO and vice presidents. Candidates can submit their applications until July 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

The decision comes after the board expanded the company’s management team to four members. The supervisory board has appointed a panel to handle the selection process, composed of its own members.

Three separate competitions for top positions

The supervisory board announced three distinct qualification procedures for the following roles: president of the board, vice president for financial affairs, and vice president for corporate affairs. The application requirements include full name, correspondence address, phone number, email, and the specific position or positions the candidate is applying for.

Until the competition is resolved, Piotr Andrusiewicz, a delegated member of the supervisory board, will continue to perform the duties of the CEO. He was appointed on an interim basis for up to three months starting July 2, 2026, following the board’s decision to dismiss former CEO Jakub Stypuła on July 1.

Current management and financial performance

Marzena Hebda-Sztandkie remains in the management board as vice president for financial affairs. Polimex Mostostal is controlled by state-owned energy companies: Enea, PGE, Orlen Technologie, and Energa, which together hold 63.48 percent of its shares.

In the first quarter of 2026, the company generated revenues of 861.25 million złoty, slightly less than the 875 million złoty recorded in the same period a year earlier. More significant declines were seen in operating profit – down 22 percent to 30.55 million złoty – and net profit, which fell 27.4 percent to 19.92 million złoty.
