Bestgum Polska, a company belonging to PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna (PGE GiEK), has secured over 15 million PLN in European Union funding for the purchase of two new technological lines. The total value of the project exceeds 30 million PLN, with completion scheduled for the end of 2028.
The subsidy comes from the Regional Program Fundusze Europejskie dla Łódzkiego 2021-2027. The investment aims to expand the company’s production capabilities and strengthen its position in the market for rubber products and industrial components.
Two production lines for diverse industries
The first line will produce rubber goods used in road and rail construction, sports and recreational facilities, as well as in the recycling of their waste. The second line is designed for manufacturing specialized rollers for belt conveyors, which are essential in logistics centers, warehouses, maritime transport, waste sorting plants, and the sugar industry.
– This project allows us to significantly increase our production capacity and introduce innovative products that meet the highest quality standards – said Grzegorz Trojan, president of Bestgum Polska.
Strategic investment for the region
The funding agreement was signed by representatives of Bestgum Polska and the Marshal’s Office of the Łódź Voivodeship. The investment is expected to create new jobs and boost the local economy.
– We are glad that EU funds support the development of modern production in our region – added Katarzyna Kowalska, Director of the Business Service Center at the Marshal’s Office.
