Lubawa secures contract with the military worth up to PLN 50 million

Lubawa signed an agreement with the 2nd Regional Logistics Base in Warsaw to deliver a mine reconnaissance set. The contract, including options, could be worth over PLN 50 million net.

The guaranteed net value of the deal stands at PLN 25.4 million, with an optional component also valued at PLN 25.4 million net. The total maximum net value is thus PLN 50.8 million. Lubawa noted in its announcement that the optional purchases are at the discretion of the ordering party, and the company has no claim to their fulfillment.

Contract details and conditions

The detailed delivery schedule and other contractual terms were withheld due to their connection with defense and national security. This practice is standard for military procurement in Poland, where operational details are often kept confidential to protect sensitive information.

The contract covers a specialized mine reconnaissance set, a category of equipment essential for engineering and sapper units operating in modern battlefield conditions. Such sets typically include detection, marking, and disposal tools that enhance troop safety and operational efficiency.

Company profile and significance

Lubawa Group is a Polish manufacturer and processor of fabrics, knitwear, and finished products for various industries. Its portfolio includes technical textiles, decorative materials, and specialized protective equipment. The company has been a long-standing supplier to the Polish armed forces, particularly in the field of ballistic protection and camouflage systems.

The latest deal reinforces Lubawa’s position as a key contractor in the defense sector. The Polish military has been increasingly investing in engineering and reconnaissance capabilities, part of a broader modernization program underway since 2022. Contracts like this one not only boost the company’s revenues but also strengthen the domestic industrial base for national security.
