Grupa Kęty, one of Poland’s leading industrial groups, reported a 37% year-on-year increase in net profit for the second quarter of 2026, reaching 234 million zlotys. Consolidated revenues rose by 17% to 1.68 billion zlotys, driven by strong sales volumes despite persistent geopolitical uncertainty.
The preliminary results, published on Thursday, show that the company’s operating profit (EBIT) climbed to 310 million zlotys, up 32% from the same period a year earlier. EBITDA increased by 27% to 375 million zlotys, reflecting improved operational efficiency.
The group managed to maintain above 90% capacity utilization across its production facilities, a feat achieved amid several external headwinds. The conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran, along with disruptions in supply chains caused by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, have created significant turbulence in global trade.
Resilience in a challenging environment
– Despite the lack of signs of improvement in the economic situation in Europe, high uncertainty caused by the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran, and disruptions in supply chains related to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the group is achieving high sales levels that allow over 90% utilization of its production capacity – the company said in a stock exchange announcement.
The results were driven by all three operating segments: Extruded Products, Aluminium Systems, and Flexible Packaging. The group has been a component of the WIG20 index on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1996 and is listed on GPW.
Dividend payout and outlook
Grupa Kęty also confirmed that it will pay a dividend of 49.05 zlotys per share from 2025 profits. The record date is set for August 19, with the payout to be made in two tranches, consistent with the company’s traditional dividend policy.
The full consolidated report for the second quarter and first half of 2026 is scheduled for publication on July 29. Analysts will be watching closely to see if the group can sustain its momentum as global uncertainties persist.
