GreenWay Polska, a leading operator of electric vehicle charging stations, increased the number of its locations by 9 percent and added 81 new charging points in the first half of 2026. The company’s total installed power grew by 11 percent, reaching 399 megawatts by the end of June.
As of June 30, 2026, the GreenWay network comprised 1,719 locations, 3,504 chargers, and 5,898 charging points. The public network segment, the company’s core business, now includes 877 locations with 1,244 chargers and 2,297 points. Its capacity rose 12 percent year-on-year to 276 MW, driven primarily by the expansion of DC fast-charging infrastructure.
Expansion focused on dc fast charging
Between January and June, the operator launched 81 new own charging points with a total capacity of 10.4 MW, situated in 76 new locations – 73 in Poland and three in Slovakia. The vast majority of these were DC fast-charging stations: 71 points accounted for over 10.3 MW of new power. In the same period, the network also added five AC chargers.
Silesia leads regional growth
The highest investment activity took place in the Silesian province, where GreenWay rolled out 15 new charging points with a combined capacity exceeding 2.5 MW. Other notable regions include Greater Poland (10 points), Lower Silesia and Masovia (8 each), and Łódź (7 points). The geographic spread reflects the operator’s strategy to cover key transport corridors and urban areas.
Customer-centric network development
– We are expanding the network primarily with our customers in mind – so that charging is easily accessible and traveling by electric car is comfortable and predictable, regardless of the journey length – said Maciej Gajewski, CEO of GreenWay Polska.
The continued build-out of high-power DC stations aims to reduce downtime for drivers and support the growing number of electric vehicles on Polish roads. With 399 MW of total capacity and a rising share of fast chargers, GreenWay is positioning itself as a key infrastructure partner in Poland’s electromobility transition.
