French logistics giant extends contracts, also in Poland

French logistics giant CEVA Logistics has extended its long-term contracts with e-commerce platform Zalando and pharmaceutical group GSK, securing operations at key European facilities, including a central distribution hub in Robakowo near Poznań, Poland. The renewed agreements ensure continued collaboration at least until 2030.

CEVA, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, manages the Robakowo centre since 2012. The facility handles over 2,900 inbound and more than 51,000 outbound orders monthly, distributing pharmaceuticals and vaccines to 13 countries in Northern and Central Europe. The extensions cover fulfilment centres, returns processing, and inbound distribution across Germany, the Netherlands, and Poland, including Zalando’s large-scale logistics hub in Rotterdam.

Zalando partnership extended until 2030

The new agreement will see CEVA continue to operate Zalando’s fulfilment and returns centres on several European markets. The partnership now runs at least until 2030, reinforcing the collaboration in e-commerce logistics. – The renewal of our contract with Zalando is a testament to the quality and reliability of our services in managing complex omnichannel supply chains – said Frédéric Marcerou, CEO of CEVA Logistics.

Zalando, which operates one of the largest online fashion platforms in Europe, relies on CEVA for seamless order fulfilment and reverse logistics. The extended partnership covers not only Poland but also key markets in Germany and the Netherlands.

GSK distribution hub in Poland to operate for another five years

GSK, the global biopharmaceutical company, has extended its partnership with CEVA for another five years. Under the renewed contract, CEVA will continue to manage the key GSK distribution centre in Robakowo, one of four European sites operated by CEVA for GSK. Together, these facilities distribute around 32 million units per month – including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, and vaccines – to 39 European markets. – Robakowo plays a strategic role in our European supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of life-saving medicines to patients across the continent – stated Emma Walmsley, CEO of GSK.

The extensions come amid growing demand for integrated logistics services in Europe, particularly in the pharmaceutical and e-commerce sectors. Poland, with its strategic location and modern infrastructure, remains a key market for CEVA. The company has been active in the country for over a decade, and the renewals confirm its long-term commitment to the region.
