Tajwan’s Foxconn, one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers, reported record consolidated revenue of 2.513 trillion Taiwan dollars ($78.715 billion) in the second quarter of 2026, while also announcing major expansion plans in Poland. The company, a key supplier to Apple, Nvidia and Xiaomi, will build a European technology and production center in Miękinia, Lower Silesia, focusing on AI server assembly and manufacturing, and is finalizing a joint venture for electric vehicle production in Jaworzno.
The figures represent a 39.8% year-on-year increase from 1.793 trillion Taiwan dollars ($55.583 billion) in the same period last year. The result surpassed analysts’ expectations and underscores the enormous demand for semiconductors from tech giants. Foxconn’s financial performance confirms the ongoing boom in the technology sector, driven largely by artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
The company serves as a contract manufacturer for major players such as Apple, Google, Nvidia, and Xiaomi. To meet growing client orders, Foxconn is expanding its production capacity globally, with a strong focus on Europe.
Record financial results
Foxconn’s second-quarter revenue set an all-time high for the group. The company noted that demand for integrated circuits from technology concerns remains immense. In its official statement, Foxconn highlighted positive growth forecasts for the upcoming quarter but also warned of geopolitical and economic uncertainties.
– „The growth forecasts for the next quarter are positive, which should positively affect financial indicators, but we must recognize the volatility of the geopolitical and economic situation” – stated Foxconn in a press release.
Poland as a strategic hub
Foxconn has decided to build a European technology and production center in Miękinia, Lower Silesia. The new facility will handle assembly and manufacturing of servers for artificial intelligence systems. This investment is expected to strengthen Poland’s position as a key location for high-tech manufacturing in Europe.
Additionally, in autumn 2026, Foxconn plans to finalize an agreement to establish a joint venture in Jaworzno for the preparation and production of electric vehicles. The move aligns with the global trend toward electrification and the growing importance of the automotive sector in Poland, which already hosts numerous battery and EV component factories.
The investments come at a time when Poland is increasingly attracting foreign tech giants, offering a skilled workforce and strategic location within the European Union. Foxconn’s decision further cements the country’s role in the global supply chain for electronics and electric mobility.
