Polish renewable energy holding Ecorun (formerly Supreme Global) has launched a new business segment focused on industrial energy storage systems for corporate clients. The company maintains its ambition to debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange at the turn of 2026 and 2027.
Ecorun is betting on industrial batteries as a tool for cutting electricity costs and improving operational efficiency. According to the company’s management, the payback period for such investments often does not exceed two to three years.
– Energy storage is no longer just a technology supporting renewables. For businesses, it is becoming a real instrument to improve cost and operational efficiency. We have already successfully completed initial implementations and see steadily growing interest from companies. This confirms that in the future this area could become a significant part of our business. Our goal is that by the end of 2026, industrial energy storage projects will account for 6-8 percent of Ecorun’s revenue – said Mateusz Wróbel, CEO of Ecorun.
Industrial energy storage as a tool for cost efficiency
The company is developing this segment as part of a broader 360° business model that combines equipment sales, financing, implementation and after-sales service into one coherent process.
– The introduction of industrial energy storage strengthens our B2B offer and opens another area for scaling sales. Companies are increasingly looking for solutions that allow them to realistically reduce energy costs and better manage consumption – said Maciej Nowacki, B2B sales director at Ecorun.
Ipo plans reaffirmed despite previous delays
Ecorun continues formal preparations for entering the capital market. The company assumes that the debut may take place at the turn of 2026 and 2027, although this is not the first announced deadline. The development of the B2B segment, including industrial energy storage, is intended to support further growth and long-term value creation.
Ecorun is a holding company specialising in the distribution of photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, energy storage, pellet and wood gasification boilers, as well as offering a hybrid balancing service using a virtual energy storage, electric vehicle chargers and thermal modernisation services.
