Atrem signs PLN 26 million contract to modernize power substation for Enea

Atrem has signed a contract with Enea Operator to modernize the 110/15 kV Fordon substation under a design-and-build formula. The agreement, announced on July 16, 2026, is worth nearly PLN 26.2 million gross.

The company disclosed the deal in a market filing, stating that the project involves comprehensive modernization of the substation located in the Bydgoszcz area. Work is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the date of signing.

Atrem has granted Enea Operator a 60-month warranty and guarantee on all performed works. The maximum total contractual penalties that the client can claim are capped at 20% of the contract value, as stated in the official communication.

Key client and financial position

Enea Operator is one of Atrem’s core customers. In the first quarter of 2026, revenue from Enea Operator accounted for PLN 10.5 million, or 17% of the company’s total sales. Other major clients include Orlen (through a consortium with SEEN Technologie) and Energa Operator.

Atrem reported first‑quarter 2026 revenue of approximately PLN 61.8 million and a net profit of nearly PLN 6.4 million. The company’s stock is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange under the ticker ATR.

Strategic expansion in power infrastructure

The modernization of the Fordon substation is part of a broader wave of grid upgrades undertaken by Polish distribution system operators. Enea Operator has been actively contracting for substation refurbishments and digitalization projects to improve reliability and integrate renewable energy sources.

Atrem’s management indicated that the new order strengthens its position in the energy infrastructure segment, which remains a strategic growth area. The company has previously executed similar projects for Energa Operator and Orlen.
