Asbis, a technology distributor listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, expects strong double-digit revenue growth this year driven by booming AI data center infrastructure spending and expanding Apple product sales. The company reported that AI component sales doubled in 2026 compared to the previous year, with server segment revenues reaching 32% of total sales in the first quarter.
The group, which is an authorized Apple distributor in 25 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, sees further acceleration in the coming quarters. According to President Sergiej Kostewicz, the key growth engines include investments in AI data centers, a new refresh cycle for Apple devices, and the development of premium retail networks.
AI data center boom drives revenue surge
Asbis noted that the global data center market is valued at approximately $430 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach $660 billion by 2030. The company’s own server AI segment accounted for nearly $1.3 billion in Q1 2026, up from 16% of revenue a year earlier. Strong demand for processors, servers, memory modules (CPU, GPU, AI, DRAM), SSDs and HDDs fueled this growth. The company highlighted particularly strong demand for high-bandwidth memory and enterprise SSDs for AI workloads.
Taiwan emerged as a standout market, delivering over $132 million in Q1 revenue – a surge of more than 1,900% year-on-year – largely due to large AI infrastructure contracts.
– We expect the strong growth in AI server and data center components to continue for at least the next five years, and the efficiency of data centers in the EMEA region could quadruple over that period – said Sergiej Kostewicz during an investor conference.
Apple expansion into Africa and premium retail
On June 17, Asbis announced that its subsidiary had signed a non-exclusive distribution agreement with Apple for 14 African countries, including Algeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast and others. The agreement is open-ended and covers iPhones, Macs, iPads, Apple TVs, Apple Watches and accessories. The company is now the sole Apple distributor in those markets, expanding its authorized distributor network to 25 countries globally.
Asbis also pointed to the premium retail segment as a significant growth driver. Combined with the upcoming Apple product refresh cycle, the company expects continued strong demand for smartphones, which already account for 31% of its revenue (stable year-on-year). Asbis also benefits from its value-added distribution model, offering integration services and technical support.
The company’s stock has surged over 170% in 2026, with market capitalization reaching nearly PLN 5 billion at around PLN 90 per share.
Looking ahead, Asbis anticipates the strong momentum to persist through 2027, driven by continuous AI investments and the Apple product refresh cycle.
