Poczta Polska appoints two new vice presidents

Poczta Polska has filled two key positions in its management board. The supervisory board completed qualification procedures for vice presidents of finance and real estate assets. Jacek Fijałkowski will become CFO on July 1, while Maciej Klukowski takes charge of real estate assets on June 16.

Jacek Fijałkowski will replace Wiesław Strąk as vice president for finance. He comes from the ACTUS group, where he spent years managing companies in telecommunications and IT. His move marks a shift from the technology sector to one of the largest state-owned enterprises.

Maciej Klukowski, until recently a board member at Polski Holding Nieruchomości (PHN), will oversee the real estate portfolio of Poczta Polska. He was responsible for asset management at PHN. Earlier in his career, he worked at Metrohouse and Duna House. He was removed from PHN’s board at the end of May 2026.

Finance expert from the telecom world

Fijałkowski built his career in the ACTUS corporate group, which operates in telecommunications and IT services. The company provides solutions for businesses and institutions. His appointment signals that Poczta Polska is looking for financial leadership with a background in digital and technology-driven industries.

The change in the finance department comes as the postal operator faces pressure to modernize its operations and improve efficiency. Poczta Polska has been investing in digital services and e-commerce logistics, which require solid financial planning.

Real estate professional takes over asset management

Klukowski brings over a decade of experience in real estate. At PHN, he managed a large portfolio of properties across Poland. Before that, he held positions at Metrohouse and Duna House, two well-known real estate agencies. His role at Poczta Polska will involve optimizing the company’s property assets, which include thousands of post offices, warehouses, and office buildings across the country.

The new appointments are effective from June 16 (Klukowski) and July 1 (Fijałkowski). Both will sit on the nine-person management board of the state-controlled company. Poczta Polska employs around 60,000 people and operates one of the largest logistics networks in Poland.
